I don't wish for a fairy tale....

Neither the red roses,
nor the candle light..
No popping of the bubbly
on a moonlit night..
I don't live on the rainbow,
the huge castle isn't mine,
long tresses are Rupenzel's,
without the genie i do just fine!
Not the sea shore bonfire,
limo is too huge for two..
Dont want a life queen size..
only love n comfort will do!
All of it is impressive but
am not looking for materiality..
I dont wish for a fairy tale..
just a beautiful reality..

    2. You know I always like simple poetry. I love Shakespeare but in his time even day to day language was that complex. Then we had Robert Frost, he was way too simpler (as compared to WS) as in his times, language was less complicating. And, now in our times, when language is simple, we need to convey thoughts in simple words.

What you did here is remarkable. :)

    3. I try to be simple in my thoughts and the use of words! I, as a personal choice, don't like reading complicated stuff and big words! Its easier to relate if the words used are simple. And that is what i try to make my writing. Thanks a ton for your comment Saru!

The best thing is that you were a major inspiration for me.I read the wonderful work you have done and decided to pursue poetry writing seriously! So,a compliment from you means a lot!
