Thank you...

Midst the routine humdrum of life
out of nowhere a smile, word or gesture,
gets the missing glint back in your eyes.
Moments when someone says they care,
relish these moments for they are rare.
Days when you realize life is
much more than you thought,
And you always had with you what
you went out and sought.
When you finally see that
the best grades or that coveted job post,
none were worth missing what matters most.
When you find the meaning of life
is simple and pure as morning dew,
Pause and take some time out
to say a heartfelt thank you!

  2. Upasana, thank you for the nice composition. As a matter of fact, irrespective of what we receive, we have already been blessed so much by the Creator that we have to be thankful each and every day. The more we thank him, the more we get blessed.

  7. It is these days, the ones when life catches up, that I wait for the most, but they catch up when I am not waiting, and never when I am looking forward to them. Life has this enchanting beauty of surprise in it, isn't it?

    Nice post!
