The hope song...
Hearing the song of a silent heart..
Dreamy
eyes lost far away,
For her it
was yet another pensive day.
She
reflects and ponders,
Decides
and then wonders.
Uneven cobbled roads,
Travellers
on both in hordes.
She stands
at the start,
Contemplating
with a silent heart,
She
doesn't know where she wants to go,
Hopes that
the path she takes directs the flow.
She
aspires to not be wrong,
If only it
was easy to hear the hope song!
beautiful poem !
ReplyDeleteHi Upanasa, the way you have concluded the poem is very nice. However, I'd like to suggest that go back to the penultimate line and check the usage. 'She aspires to not be wrong' doesn't sound correct usage to me. Leaving it to your judgement.
ReplyDeleteTwo roads diverged in a yellow wood,
ReplyDeleteAnd sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
...
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

I hope he gives your heart an answer, and also the ear to listen to that hope song :)

Beautiful hope song Upasana! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful song..I find it touching as it presents my present condition..I also hope that the decision by me is not wrong even if it's unconventional. :)
