"Say you love me"
They slept close.Slowly, his hand slid inside her clothes. She didn't react, pretended to sleep. He touched her and it made her face him.She opened her mouth to ask but his lips stopped her.Withdrawing, he asked her, "say you love me", she could just nod.She does not remember what happened next except the excruciating pain enough to bring tears in her eyes. Next morning she asked him "I told you I love you then why did you hurt me bhaiya?" ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This post is an attempt to highlight the fact that child abuse is not something that happens in others houses only.It could be happening right under our noses, making us ignorant. It is not something to be ashamed of and swept under the carpet in the name of society. With a little awareness from our side, we can make sure that it doesn't hurt to be a child. ----------------------------------------------------------
Must say your every poem is better than a last one.
